Jetty Park Campground is an oasis by the ocean where guests from all around the world come to share in a one-of-a-kind experience. Because of the campgrounds unique location nestled along the Atlantic Ocean and inside beautiful Port Canaveral, it's not uncommon to see one or all of the following:
  • Cruise ships arriving/departing
    Submarines arriving/departing

  • Rocket launches from Canaveral Air Force Station 
  • Wildlife and marine life

The park offers guests a variety of camping options from tent camping in a rustic site to relaxing in your RV with all the amenities included.


Jetty Park Campground Rules & Restrictions

 

Canaveral Port Authority welcomes you to Jetty Park Campground. To make our campground enjoyable for all guests, please follow the listed rules. Management reserves the right to evict anyone from the premises for detrimental conduct and/or violating campground rules.

Reservations: 
Reservations can be made one year in advance. A 1-night deposit plus a $5 non-refundable processing fee is required on each reservation. Minimum of 18 years of age to place reservations. Sites are not guaranteed and subject to change at any time.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: 
A 7-day cancellation notice is required to receive a refund of the 1-night deposit. Failure to do so will forfeit any refund. Jetty Park is not responsible for inclement weather or other unfortunate circumstances and will not issue refunds.

RV Camping: 
Maximum stay 168 nights. Camping vehicles must be RVIA (Recreation Vehicle Industry Association) approved with a visible RVIA symbol. Sleeping in a car, van, or other non-recognized RVIA vehicle is not considered camping and is prohibited. Each site is allowed 2 vehicles in addition to the RVIA vehicle. One tent may setup on the site with a $10 fee per night. Maximum 6 persons per site. Check-in is 2p.m. and check-out is 12p.m.

Tents: 
Maximum stay 14 nights. One tent is required on the site. Tent sites are located on the map from 25-45 and 111 – 116.  A 2nd tent on the site is an additional $10 fee per night, this does not include the West Tent Area.  In the West Tent Area there will be a site charge per tent. Tarps, covers, lean-tos and hammocks attached to trees are prohibited. Each rustic tent site is allowed 1 car pass. Maximum 6 persons per site. Tent sites, 111 – 116, with water and electric may have fire pits and 2 cars parked on the site.  Tent Camping cannot reserve or stay in an non tent site that is designated for RV’s.   Check-in 2p.m. and check-out is 12p.m. NO PETS ON ANY TENT SITES.  Group camping can be coordinated through Donna Franks and can be contacted at dfranks@portcanaveral.com .

Cabins: 
Maximum stay 14 nights. Cabins are allowed 2 vehicles. Maximum 4 persons per cabin. Check-in 3p.m. and check-out is 11a.m. NO PETS IN THE CABINS.

Pets: 
Maximum 2 pets with rabies vaccination form presented at check in.  Pets must not be left unattended and must remain on a leash at all times. All pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Pets are not permitted in the Inlet RV sites, Tent sites, in the park, or on the beach.

Guests: 
Campers must obtain a parking pass for visitors at the Camp Store and deliver the pass to the Front Gate prior to the visitor’s arrival. Maximum 1 guest pass daily. All guest passes are good from 8:30a.m. – 10:00p.m. Campers are responsible for their guests and to ensure they abide by the rules and restrictions.

Bathhouses/Laundry: 
Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied to and from the bathhouses. Guests are expected to leave bathhouses and laundry areas clean.

Fire Pit: 
Fire pits must be 6” off the ground and have a cover. No ground fires anywhere in the campground.

Grills/Cooking: 
Campsite grills are charcoal only. No wood fires in grills. Guests may bring gas/propane grills.

Motorized Vehicles/Golf Carts: 
Unregistered motorized vehicles and golf carts must be operated by licensed drivers. Jetty Park is not responsible if you leave the campground in a vehicle that is not street legal.

Gray/Black Water:  
Gray/black water must be released at the dump station for safety and health reasons.

Quiet Hours:
10:00p.m. – 7a.m. No loud noises or disturbances, including radios and TVs. Children must remain at the site or be accompanied by an adult. Onboard generators in Inlet sites must be turned off.

Wildlife: 
Please do not feed nor disturb any wildlife in Jetty Park (including feral cats), on the beach or in the water. Federal and State laws protect many animals. The feral cats are well tended to by local caregivers.

Your Recreation Destination

Jetty Park is one of the most sought-after points of interest in Brevard County. With 35 acres at your fingertips there is a variety of activities available, making Jetty Park your recreation destination. Whether relaxing on the beach or a family reunion at one of our rentable pavilions, Jetty Park has something for everyone.  While we look forward to your visit, pets are not allowed in Jetty Park and we ask that you please leave them at home.  When the park is closed or at capacity, re-entry is not guaranteed. 

The Beach
If surf and sand are in your plans, visit our 4.5 acres of soft, pristine, sandy beach designated for Jetty Park guests. On the beach you are protected with lifeguards on duty all year round. You won't even have to bother with dragging along those cumbersome chairs and umbrellas. Jetty Park has a vendor located on the beach where everything can be rented including chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc. Outdoor showers located on the boardwalks are always a welcome sight after a long day on the beach. Our beaches have state of the art beach cleaning equipment to keep them in pristine condition for your enjoyment.

Concessions
Fishlip's is now our new concessionaire and opened July 1, 2016 and their hours are 7:00am - 7:00 pm. The Beach Pavilion Store is also open from 7:00am - 7:00pm. Enjoy the food and fun.

Fishing Pier
If fishing is your forte, Jetty Park has got you covered with its 1,200' fishing pier that extends into the ocean guaranteeing that no fish is safe from the experienced angler. The fishing pier is fully accessible to the physically challenged. The fishing pier is equipped with running water and fish cleaning stations. And you don't need a license to fish off the pier, although fishing rules and regulations still apply. Bait and tackle can be purchased at the Bait Shop located in the two-story beach pavilion. Fishing from the Jetty does require a license. Jetty Park does not have the ability to write fishing licenses.

Pavilion Rentals
Having a family reunion or a company picnic? Renting a pavilion could make you the MVP of the day. Jetty Park has 12 small pavilions that can accommodate 6 - 10 guests and 2 large pavilions that can accommodate 60 - 80 guests. All pavilions are equipped with grills and tables and centrally located in the park so that nothing is missed. Rates are $25.00 (Small) and $75.00 (Large) per day. Playground Area
Come see our brand new playground area! Your children will love you for having a picnic in this area of Jetty Park. The playground is complete with swings and a huge area for fun. Grills and tables in the vicinity can be used on a first-come first-serve basis at no charge.
