Caladesi Island State ParkDunedin FL 34698 Caladesi Island State Park is one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in the state. The park comprises a total of 650 upland acres and more than 1800 acres of surrounding mangroves and grass flats. In addition to over 3 miles of sandy beach and a 3-mile nature trail, fragile beach dunes, maritime hammock, and mangrove forest are all found at Caladesi Island.
