Old Town Campground, under new management, is conveniently located on South East 349 Highway, just 2¼ miles from Route 19/98 at the stop light in Old Town, Florida. Our natural tree landscaping creates a country-feel haven where you’ll hear the cry of the owl, see state-protected tortoises/turtles, numerous colorful birds and hear the quiet, serene music of nature. We are a 55+ campground where you’ll meet overnighters, campers that stay a week, month, snow birds and permanent residents who are out walking their dogs (pets), saying “Hi y’all” to about everyone they meet along the way as they circle the campground on the paved road to their campsite. Besides the friendly, community atmosphere, each month there are activities and themed events such as a birthday and anniversary party for each month and a themed monthly event for everyone to enjoy and interact with each other. Centrally located to various area enticements and only 2.5 miles from a 32-mile bike trail, plus salt and fresh water fishing opportunities, state parks, local springs, and other tourist attractions, each outing is an adventure exploring the history, natural springs and exciting attractions of North Central-Western Florida. So whether you’re seeking an active sportsman’s adventure or a home-away-from-home to rejuvenate and unwind, our 55+ Old Town Campground is the perfect place to settle for a night, a week, month, 6 months or permanently.

PARK RULES

Speed limit is 5 mph. Quiet hours are 8 pm – 8 am. Management reserves the right to move you to another site, if needed Visitors must leave by 11 pm. Registered campers are responsible for the behavior of their visitors at all times. Golf carts are to be driven by licensed drivers only. No ATV’s or 4-wheeler's allowed. No fireworks or firearms allowed in the park. Illegal drugs, violence, profanity, or aggression of any kind will not be tolerated. The Dixie County Sheriff’s Office will be called immediately, and you will be evicted from the premises without a refund. No glass containers, except at your camp site. No dish washing allowed in restrooms. Unidentified vehicles will be towed at owners expense. All cigarette butts are to be disposed of properly. No littering. Take garbage to on-site dumpster/recycling. Coin laundry is available for $1.50 for washer and $1.50 for dryer (40 min). Free WiFi is available at most areas of the campground. Free cable TV service connections are provided at each site. No solicitation of any kind is allowed in the park.

SITE REQUIREMENTS

No site changes without prior approval from the office. No home-made RV’s, etc., allowed. No tarps over campers. Management reserves the right to inspect and refuse RV’s. Place garbage in dumpster located next to dog park. Household garbage only. Only two vehicles and one RV per site. Golf carts count as one vehicle. American flags only. No objects may be tied to or hung from any tree or post. Vehicle and RV washing allowed occasionally on site. You may wash your car at the spigot near the storage area. Do not trim any trees. Notify office of any limb removal needs. No blocking, parking, or usage of vacant spots allowed. Campers are responsible for keeping their site and RV neat and clean. No mold or mildew. Be considerate of your neighbors. Keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet times. Responsible, amicable, and sober behavior is always expected. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or dismiss any person and their property from the park. Do not drive through open camp sites, stay on the driveway.
