Okeechobee is on the North tip of Lake Okeechobee, and is centrally located between the Atlantic Ocean (approx. 50 miles east), and Gulf of Mexico (approx. 60 miles west). Cities nearby are: West Palm Beach - 61 miles, Miami - 126 miles, Ft. Myers - 95 miles, Tampa - 132 miles, and Orlando - 105 miles.
