Welcome to Shady Acres RV Park! Where guests become friends and friends become family! Come and spend some time with us and become a part of our vibrant community!

Unlike many other RV and camping areas, Shady Acres is constructed within Mother Nature’s natural environment. Far off the busy roadways, we offer a safe and quiet location for you and your loved ones. You can enjoy the full beauty that SW Florida has to offer, under the shade of our palm, oak and cypress trees. Relax in the picturesque campground setting and enjoy the occasional visit from ducks, raccoons, squirrels, turkeys, armadillos, and other wildlife.

If you want to stay busy our community offers a robust schedule of activities and events. I promise we have something that appeals to everyone! Looking for things to do outside the RV park? We are conveniently located between Ft. Myers and Naples, and we are certain that you can stay as active as you want. Within the campground we offer numerous amenities to make your home away from home as comfortable as possible.

From our beautiful pool complex, new in 2019, which has two heated pools, a jacuzzi, several TV’s and ample seating to enjoy it all to a modern and clean laundry facility. Families with children and pets are always welcome on your camping adventure! In fact, also new in 2019 we have just added a Dog Park with agility equipment and watering stations. Shady Acres has been a family owned and operated business since 1976. From the moment we opened our first park in 1971, we’ve taken great pride in the sense of family and community our RV park evokes. So many first-time guests become family that we see year after year. Dance Classes – Line dancing and clogging classes offered weekly in the Clubhouse. Pool Party – A monthly poolside party with food and live entertainment. Fire Ring Gatherings – A camping tradition! Songs, stories and laughter every Saturday night. Karaoke on Wednesdays. Coffee – Come and get to know your campground neighbors, once a week at the Clubhouse over a cup of coffee and donut. Pot Luck Dinners – Sample homemade specialties prepared by residents of the park. Bingo – Tuesday and Thursday evenings in the Clubhouse. Water Aerobics – Hosted daily, Monday through Friday mornings. Game Night – Every Monday in the Club House, poker, bridge and various board games are available. Crafts – New crafts taught each week by our resident crafters. Horseshoes – Men’s and Women’s leagues available, we even travel to other parks for tournaments! Shuffleboard – Sign up to play on our brand-new courts. Teams available with an end of the season tournament. Party In The Park – An all-day send-off at the end of the season, sponsored by the Rec Club with food, games, skits and live entertainment followed by a BBQ dinner in the Club House. Shady Ladys – Our local RV Park chapter meets weekly for meetings, tours and luncheons at local restaurants. Bean Bag Baseball – Shady Acres version of baseball hosted every Sunday evening in the Club House. Themed Dinner/Dances –

We have several dinner/dances planned each season, including: New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day Thanksgiving & Christmas. Past menus have included: Prime Rib, Hawaiian Cornish Hens, Baby Back Ribs, Corned Beef and Cabbage and Old fashion Pot Roast. Pancake Breakfasts – All you can eat pancakes hosted monthly in the Club House. Bowling – Hosted trips to the local bowling alley. Mah Jong – Classes & gameplay hosted weekly on Wednesdays. Church – Services at the campground are held each week in the clubhouse at 10:00 AM Texas Hold em – Games hosted weekly on Mondays in the Annex. Knitting Group – Come knit & share stories with friends.
