Florida RV Resort, Water’s Edge RV Resort, is located in Punta Gorda, Florida, nestled between Sarasota and Fort Myers along Florida’s Gulf Coast. Founded in 1882 on 30 acres on the southern shore of Charlotte Harbor, Punta Gorda features a beautifully restored historic district with many natural attractions. Many active adults choose Punta Gorda as their retirement home because of its sub-tropical warmth, affordable living and the many area amenities. U.S. News and Word Report ranks Punta Gorda among its best healthy places to retire. Our Florida RV resort features a 20 acre lake in the center of the campground and has many types of natural inhabitants: birds, fish, and reptiles.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Water’s Edge Cooperative Inc. is a resident owned RV community – Water’s Edge RV Resort – for people ages 55 and over. We have sites for sale and for rent. We are located on the Gulf Coast of southwest Florida. Water’s Edge is in a convenient location with easy access to two of Interstate 75’s exits (#161 and #164). We are close to shopping, restaurants and leisure activities, as well as the world famous Ft. Myers Beach and Boca Grande Island areas. Punta Gorda and the Charlotte Harbor area are considered by many to be one of the top retirement areas in the country. You can enjoy country living at its best in our RV resort. Located on the resort is a main building with bathrooms, showers and laundry room as well as two satellite bathroom/laundry room buildings. Our recreation hall, pavilion, pool, spa, fishing lake and fishing dock are centrally located. Most of our sites will accommodate RV’s up to 42’ in length and are approximately 45’ wide. All of our full service sites have city water, city sewer, and 50 / 30 AMP electric service.
