The park is located on the east coast of Florida, 3 miles south of Flagler Beach and 18 miles north of Daytona Beach on historic A1A.

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Florida State Parks. Please place all trash in its proper place and do not feed the wildlife.

Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Inter- coastal Waterway, this 144-acre park offers coastal camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, and nature study. The daily low tide is an ideal time to observe the shore birds feeding in tidal ponds, and summer months bring sea turtles to lay their eggs in the sand.

At night during the months of May through early September endangered and threatened Loggerhead, Green and the rare Leatherback sea turtles crawl on the beach to nest and lay their eggs as they have done for thousands of years. A wide variety of bird life can be observed during the fall, winter and spring months.

On the west side of A1A lies the Intra coastal waterway part of the park. Here you will find the Ranger Station, boat ramp and boat basin, with excellent saltwater fishing and access tothe Intra coastal waterway. The area also has picnic tables, a large picnic pavilion and ? mile nature trail. It is a great place to watch birds and offers a beautiful sunset.

Full Facility Camping
The Park has 34 campsites that directly overlook the Atlantic Ocean. All sites have electricity (30amp), water, picnic tables, ground grills, and NO SHADE. The campground has a bathhouse with hot showers and modern conveniences and an RV dump station. Also, if anyone in your party has special needs, please let us know and we will do everything possible to assist you. Whenever available, the Park will also provide firewood. Although pets are allowed in the campsite, they are not permitted on the beach. Also, proof of current rabies vaccination is required.

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on the traditional holidays of Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. During the months of February and March, campsites are in very high demand and go quickly.
Fishing

Non-Florida residents must have a saltwater fishing license.

Anastasia State Park was first opened to the public in 1949 and since that time has become one of Florida's busiest state parks. Located off A1A, and just 1 1/2 miles from historic downtown St. Augustine, Anastasia has everything for the active park visitor. The park boasts a broad beach flanked by sand dunes and a lagoon bordered by rich tidal marshes. Read more

Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park

The 150 acres of Bulow Plantation Ruins stand as a monument to the rise and fall of sugar plantations in East Florida.The park has picnic facilities and an interpretive center that tells the plantation's history. A boat ramp provides access for canoes and small powerboats to scenic Bulow Creek, a designated state canoe trail. Anglers can fish from the dock or a boat. Read more






Bulow Creek State Park

Bulow Creek protects nearly 5,600 acres, more than 1,500 of which are submerged lands. The highlight of Bulow Creek is one of the largest remaining stands of southern live oak forest along Florida's east coast. The Bulow Woods Trail, nearly seven miles long, takes hikers to Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. Read more

The park has plenty of picnic areas and a hiking trail. For overnight stays, air-conditioned cabins, a full-facility campground and primitive campsites are available. The park is currently equipped with a lime rock entrance road, grass parking area, wheelchair accessible restroom, informational kiosk, picnic pavilion and several picnic tables and grills. Visitors are invited to fish, picnic and hike or ride their horses on over 12 miles of trails and enjoy nature study at its finest. Read more
