Within O'Leno State Park, the Santa Fe disappears and flows underground for more than three miles before it again becomes a surface stream at River Rise State Preserve. This geological feature makes O'Leno/River Rise a unique park. You may drive to the Rise to fish or view this distinct part of Florida. O'Leno and River Rise encompass over 6,000 acres in Alachua and Columbia Counties.
Park Activities
River Rise has approximately 20 miles of horseback riding trails. These trails pass through a variety of plant communities and take you to the River Rise for viewing of this unique feature. Daily horseback riding fees are $6.00 per horse and must be paid at O’Leno State Park. For more information, please contact the park office at 386-454-1853.
Picnicking
River Rise has one covered pavilion that is available for rental for $30.00 per day and can be reserved by calling the park office at 386-454-1853.
Primitive Camping
Primitive camping with fire circle, centrally located bathhouse, and 20 stall horse barn is available. Camping fees are $4.00/person/night. For more information please contact the park office at 386-454-1853.

$5.00 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4.00 Single Occupant Vehicle.
$2.00 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Primitive Camping Fee:
$5.00 per person night, plus tax.
Picnic Pavilion Rental Fees:
$30.00 plus tax: Covered Pavilion.
