The Judah P. Benjamin Confederate Memorial at Gamble Plantation State Historic Site serves as a memorial to a way of life and an economic system that existed before the War between the States. Gamble Mansion is the only surviving antebellum plantation house in south Florida.

The visitor center is open from 8am to 4:30pm. Tours are run Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 9:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.
We are closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Thanksgiving
Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Driving Directions
Gamble Plantation State Historic Site is located in
Ellenton on U.S. 301 E. From I-75 take exit 224 then
go west on 301.
