Stump Pass Beach State Park
Stump Pass Beach State Park consists of the southernmost mile of Manasota Key, Peterson Island and Whidden Island. The islands provide a unique area for fishing, picnicking, shelling, year-round swimming on a mile long-beach along the Gulf of Mexico. Stump Pass Beach State Park is located at the south end of Manasota Key in the town of Englewood, Florida. The 245-acre park consists of three islands and the protected channels between them. There is no camping allowed.
