Visitors can take a dip in this first magnitude spring, walk across the natural limestone bridge that crosses the spring run flowing into the Suwannee River or picnic under the oaks with their swaying Spanish moss. Fish or canoe on the Suwannee River or stay in one of the park’s rental cabins, which stand on stilts high above the spring. Bicycling, hiking and wildlife viewing are favorite pastimes for visitors. Lake Dorr Cabin is in a private and secluded location on the shores of Lake Dorr with shady palms and other tropical vegetation. Boating, skiing, jet skiing, fishing and swimming are the popular activities, especially with easy access to a private boat ramp and fishing/boat dock. Read more

A short trail near the park entrance takes visitors to the mammoth oak tree.
