The park was formally known as Florida Springs RV Resort and we welcome travelers who have stayed with Andy and Alicia in the past. The new owners are embarking on a major rejuvenation of the park whilst adding additional amenities expected by today's park guests. In the meantime we will do our best to ensure your enjoyment of our existing facilities. Management team Jackie and Mason will make you feel right at home and don’t hesitate to ask if you need anything.

Two of the new owners are Australian residents and they aim to introduce the laid back atmosphere of an Australian "caravan park". Parks in Australia can be few and far between, particularly in the outback. One thing they share is a feeling of camaraderie and a cheeky irreverence that is a great part of the camping scene "down under”. Our US Partner is a true southerner, born and raised in Louisiana. His cooking skills are legendary, and we hope to get him to rustle up some of his rib, brisket and boiled crawfish on the occasional weekend. We hope you will enjoy this unique blend of Australian and Southern hospitality! We offer travelers a 10% discount to Good Sam's, AARP, and AAA and a 15% discount to Active and retired Military personnel.

Features

Our park features a spring fed pond stocked with a large number of Koi and catfish. The kids are welcome to feed these fellas with food available from the office.

We have some wide open grassed areas ideal for games such as horse shoes. For the golfer we have a practice putting green on site. For the more adventurous there is a jogging/walking route that takes you down some picturesque country roads.

A dog wash stand is available and a proper dog walk is soon to come.

A laundry room houses washers and dryers which accept coins and credit/debit cards.

We have recently added a new laundry room house with new washers and dryers to accommodate our growth. Our washrooms are neat and clean, if a little dated. However an upgrade is on our list of improvements currently underway. We are introducing picnic tables near each site and fire rings are available for your use. Naming our park a "Resort" at the moment may be a bit of a stretch, but watch this space!! In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy your stay and will do our best to make that happen!

pet policy

Like most Australians and Americans, we just love cats, dogs and friendly wombats. However, the confines of an RV park (and the insistence of our insurers) means we must have rules. Please check that your furry friends comply before booking or checking in. If you are the proud owner of a Rottweiler, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terrier, Wolf Hybrid or Dingo (or part thereof) then, sadly, you will need to find another park. If your furry friend is unsuited to park life we can recommend a nearby boarding facility.

Other breeds are welcome provided: they are not aggressive all their vaccinations are current they are not disturbing other guests.

All pets must be under your control and on a maximum of 6ft leash when outside your van. If your dog is tied up outside your RV then you need to be with it. Please don't leave your dog unattended. As a courtesy to your neighbors please don't leave your dog in your RV if it barks or cries when lonely. It is the owner's responsibility to pick up after your dog (or wombat!) To assist in this downside of pet ownership we provide doggy bags so please ask for a complimentary Pet Pack at the office. Please adhere to these simple rules. We want your pet (and you) to enjoy Outback Springs!

CURRENT RATES EFFECTIVE 5/10/2019 • Nightly Rates are based on two adult guests per RV site. • Additional guests are charged $6.00 per day or $110 per month. • We offer a 10% discount to Good Sam's, AARP, and AAA. • We offer a 15% discount to Active and retired Military personnel. • All rates are calculated with tax included - no more to pay! Please note: Refunds are only given in the case of a sustained wombat attack. NIGHTLY RATES: 50/30 AMP Site: Standard – $41.00 Good Sam’s, AAA & AARP Members – $37.00 Military (Active & Retired). – $35.00 WEEKLY RATES: 50/30 AMP Site – $250.00 MONTHLY RATES: 50/30 AMP Site – $550.00 Includes 150 KWH of power per month. Additional Services for Non-Guests for $10 each: • Dump Station • Water Tank Refill • Use of Bathhouse Facilities Check Out Time: 11am(ish) OFFICE HOURS Monday – Saturday: 11am 'till 6pm.
